Montessori education is unique, and looks different from a traditional teacher-centered learning environment. Montessori environments are a specially prepared to allow individualized learning for each student. A Montessori child chooses and leads the direction of the lessons. In this way, MSD students are instilled with a sense of independence, confidence, curiosity and intrinsic motivation to learn early on. The rich learning environment scientifically designed by Maria Montessori creates endless opportunities for children to receive indirect preparation in all areas.
