How to Apply to Elementary Grade 2-5

1Schedule a Tour
We invite parents to come see the school and observe our Montessori Classrooms to experience how we learn here. Call or email to schedule a tour: 218-728-4600, info@montessoriduluth.org.
2Submit an Application
Complete an online application. Application fee: $50.
3Submit Teacher Recommendations and School Records
Submit two Teacher Recommendations and school records from your child’s previous/current educational institution(s). Download the Teacher Recommendation and School Record Release forms.
4Take the Independent School Entrance Exam
Take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). $110/student. Sign up at www.erblearning.org.
5Interview
The applicant interviews with an Elementary Guide while the family interviews with the Head of School. You do not need to wait until you have completed your online application to schedule an interview. Contact us early to secure a slot. 218-728-4600, infor@montessoriduluthmn.org.
5Submit an Financial Aid Application
Need-based Financial Aid is offered to Elementary students and families. Submit an application here. Read financial aid application instructions. Application fee: $39.

 

Admissions Checklist

  • Must be 6 by September 1, 2018. Close birthdays (i.e. turning 6 by October 1), call the Admissions Office to inquire, 218-728-4600.
    • $50 application fee
    • Submit two Teacher Recommendations
    • Submit school record(s)
  • Take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). Cost: $110/student. www.earlearning.org.
  • In person interview
  • Submit online financial aid application (for families in need). Application fee: $39.
